The “Affordable and Social Housing Complex” project is an initiative of the Government of Kosovo aimed at providing affordable and social housing for low-income citizens, young couples, and single-parent families. This project is part of the Government’s Agenda for Affordable and Social Housing, approved in 2021. The project is planned to be implemented in the following municipalities: Podujevë, Gjilan, Kamenicë, Pejë, and Istog.
In each of the respective municipalities, the organization of the complexes differs, taking into account, among other factors, the location’s position in relation to the zoning plan, its proximity to the existing main road, construction lines, orientation, terrain configuration, distance between buildings, and others.
